Oregon couple accused of sexually abusing dog

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. -- A man accused of selling footage of his girlfriend having sex with a dog will be arraigned next month.
Steven Baker, 53, of Klamath Falls told investigators he made $12,000 by selling the videotapes to a company in Denmark, according to court records.
Both Baker and his girlfriend, 49-year-old Kim Baalbergen, were arrested on charges of sexual assault of an animal. Sheriff Tim Evinger of Klamath County said the couple's dog, Max, is now in the custody of the local humane society.....

Denver comes in tonight on the second half of a back to back after beating the Houston Rockets last night in Denver in triple overtime. The Blazers have been off since Wednesday, so they should ready and well rested. GO Blazers!

Greg Oden hurt playing Dance Dance Revolution?

There is a rumor spreading around Portland that number one overall pick Greg Oden possibly hurt his knee playing the video game Dance Dance Revolution. Oden claims he does not know when or how the injury happened, but he first reported discomfort in the knee to Trailblazer trainers on Sept. 6. The photo on the right was taken August 30 in Vancouver, WA, it shows Oden playing the video game Dance Dance Revolution. According to sources this was not the first time that Oden been spotted here playing the game.

UFC 75 Jackson VS Henderson

UFC 75: Champion vs Champion will take place from London, England and features a fight that is of “can’t miss” variety. Just three months out of winning the Light Heavyweight crown, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson takes on Dan Henderson who holds two championship titles in Pride Fighting Championships. Both fighters are devastating strikers and extremely well rounded but their strength’s are their wrestling skills.Henderson has not fought in the UFC since 1998 but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been one of MMA’s best fighters over the last decade. Making a name for himself in Pride, Henderson has a career MMA record of 22-5 and currently holds Pride’s Middleweight and Welterweight championship belts. In Pride, the Middleweight division has the same weight requirements as the Light Heavyweight division in the UFC so this fight will be the first unification title fight in MMA history. This isn’t the only fight of interest for this weekend’s card. Heavyweight Mirko Cro Cop will look to get back on the winning track after getting knocked out in his last fight by a devastating leg kick. The Croatian kickboxing specialist will square off against Cheick Kongo out of France. Kongo also specializes in Muay Thai kickboxing so these fighters will most likely both stand on their feet and trade blows.

I think Henderson will win this. Rampage isn't near the wrestler that Henderson is, and if this thing goes to the ground its going to be along night for Jackson. In the heavyweight fight Cro Cop will absolutely destroy Kongo. Kongo has never fought anyone with the skills of Cro Cop. I think I could probably take Kongo!

Dad of the Year

PATRICK, Nev. -- An Oregon man is in custody after allegedly leaving his 2-year-old daughter in a car in 95-degree heat in the parking lot of a brothel east of Reno.
The Storey County sheriff's office said Lucien Hoffman of Bend, Ore., was being held in the country jail in lieu of $40,000 bail on charges of child neglect.
Hoffman told deputies he was attending a function at the Mustang Ranch brothel off Interstate 80, 15 miles east of Reno.
A brothel security guard found the child crying inside the car on Saturday and took her indoors until authorities arrived.
The toddler was treated for dehydration and released to the Nevada Division of Child and Family Services.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for assistance from Clark County’s most notorious resident early Sunday morning: former Olympic figure skater Tonya Harding.Sgt. Tim Bieber said deputies were called out to the north county area twice on Sunday. The first came at about 5 a.m. from Harding, who was at Yacolt Towing in Yacolt. She said she was being followed by several people and believed someone was trying to hide weapons on her property. A deputy responded and was not able to find any evidence of her claim. Harding told the officer that her medication had been changed. She did not say what condition for which she is being treated, or the medication she was taking.About four hours later a resident, who only identified herself as a friend of Harding’s, called to say Harding was at the friend’s house and was “scaring her kids.” Deputies responded and took Harding home to her trailer on Northeast Sunset Falls Road. Cross Country Race Threatened by Terrorists
